SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

RIBA qualified since 1979 with additional training in Planning Supervision and Project Management.

Experienced in all aspects of building design, management, office and project programming, client liaison, fee bidding and invoicing, marketing and leading project teams, having operated at Director level for 6 years and Associate for 7 years in medium size architects and multi-discipline practices. Currently operating as a Partner in Private Practice specialising in flexible design services and project management having formerly traded as a sole practitioner under the name PMB Consult.

Project specifics include Space Planning, Business Parks, Computerised Office Facilities, Automotive Engineering Facilities, Retail, Commercial and Industrial projects, both new-build and refurbishment, as well as Residential and Health work. Project range from £10,000 to £25,000,000.

Additional skills include the management and implementation of Quality Assurance systems, Risk Management, CAD/IT, CPD, Administration systems and registered as a Planning Supervisor

Member of RIBA Wessex Region/ Bristol and Bath Society of Architects Practice Committee since 1988, Chairman 1994-1997.

Practice Member and Advisor on Implementation Board for Architecture and Planning degree course, University of the West of England.
Working Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Lotus, Microsoft Project, Project Commander, CAFGEN, E-mail and the Internet, electronic information systems and AutoCAD plus Revit 3D.
